For Ordering Regular Medication

The practice has introduced temporary arrangements for ordering regular medication while coronavirus (COVID-19) is circulating in the community. The new arrangements have been introduced to limit the person to person spread of this disease by limiting the number of people visiting the Resource Centre.

Do not attend surgery reception in person to request repeat medication.

Please use one of the following options:

Pharmacy Collection Service

If you use a pharmacy collection service please continue to order medication in the normal way.

  • Contact the pharmacy one week before your regular medication is due and only order items that you need.
  • Inform the pharmacy of any items that are not required.

My Health Online

To use ‘My Health Online’ you will require an account. Please contact reception for further details. If you already have a ‘My Health Online’ account use the following link to access the service:

Ordering Medication

Patients on regular medication will be provided with a repeat prescribing list. Medication will normally be provided for one month. You may obtain your prescription by posting your list in our prescription box, or by posting it, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope.  Please allow 3 working days for your repeat prescription to be prepared, so don’t let yourself run out of medication before requesting a repeat prescription. Only medication on the repeat prescribing list may be obtained in this way. If you require any other medication that is not on repeat, you will need to book a triage appointment with a GP, or our Pharmacy Technician by calling the surgery between 8:00am –11am (subject to availability).
